What’s at Agro Market
Agro Market is a paid flower park with a free farmers’ market. Women’s Weekly calls it a one-stop place for local produce, shopping, dining and leisure2, and says it’s unlike a typical pasar pagi or pasar malam.
TheSmartLocal described it as a new flora park with a large collection of colourful flowers3. Inside, you’ll find:
- flower hills with blooms ranging from gerberas to orchids4
- a Mini Santorini photo zone and a succulent section4 among the flower hills
- birds such as parrots, lovebirds and Mandarin ducks2
- an animal area with sheep, lop rabbits and kittens2
- shops at the entrance selling souvenirs, fresh produce and potted plants4
Opening hours and entry fees
Google Maps lists Agro Market as open Mon–Sun 08:30–18:301 (checked October 2026). Women’s Weekly gave the same hours, 8.30am to 6.30pm daily2. An older TheSmartLocal listing said 9am to 6pm daily3, so if you’re cutting it fine, plan around the shorter hours.

How do you get to Agro Market without a car?
Take the tourist bus from Tanah Rata, which stops in Brinchang and Kea Farm5. You can ask the driver to drop you anywhere along the main road5.
- Start in Tanah Rata, where the bus station is (see more on Tanah Rata for the town itself).
- Board the tourist bus heading for Brinchang and Kea Farm.
- Ask the driver to let you off for Agro Market.
Google Maps gives the address as PT3440, Jln Gunung Brincang, Sungai Burung, 39100 Brinchang, Pahang1, so put that into your map app. TheSmartLocal once listed a Tanah Rata, 390003 address, so don’t be thrown if you come across it.
If you’re driving, Brinchang is about 2 km past Tanah Rata, although another source puts it closer to 4 km6. You’ll find shops and places to eat in the town of Brinchang.
Who Agro Market suits
Agro Market works well for families. Women’s Weekly includes it in its list of things to do in Cameron Highlands with kids2, and the birds and animal area give children plenty to look at between the flower beds.
If you’re mostly there to buy produce or plants, you can skip the park ticket and stick to the free market area and the entrance shops.
When to go
Rain is what you most need to plan around. Wikivoyage says it rains often in Cameron Highlands, and heavily when it does5, so pack a rain jacket for the flower hills.
- BOH Tea says the best months to visit are February to April7.
- BOH Tea calls November to January7 the high season, especially around the holidays.
Other stops around Brinchang and Kea Farm
Agro Market fits easily into a day of farm and market stops on the Brinchang side of the plateau:
- The Kea Farm produce market is 2 km north of Brinchang and sells fresh vegetables and fruit, including strawberries and sweet corn5. SAYS lists it as open 7am to 7pm daily8.
- The Flora Park flower gardens are a 6-minute walk from Kea Farm Market9.
- The Sheep Sanctuary is at Kea Farm Market, behind Kea Valley Hotel, open 9am to 5.30pm daily10.
- Brinchang’s night market has moved to Golden Hills, about 2 km away6, and Pelago lists it as open Fri & Sat 5pm–11pm11.
To fill a longer day, read up on things to do at the Lavender Garden or plan a boardwalk walk through the Mossy Forest. Every other attraction on the plateau is covered on the things to do in full page.
