Tanah Rata

Tanah Rata is the main town and a backpacker favourite, and the start of Gunung Beremban, the Bharat tea plantations and most numbered trails². Jungle trails lead to waterfalls and aboriginal villages². Century Pines Resort and Hotel De’La Ferns are here, and the Heritage Hotel says the centre is an eight-minute walk⁵ away.

Brinchang

Brinchang is the highest of the three towns³ and the base for Gunung Brinchang, the Boh tea plantations and the strawberry farms². Kea Farm

Kea Farm, in Brinchang, has the highest and biggest resort in the Camerons², the Equatorial. Copthorne Hotel Cameron Highlands adds a fitness centre, a recreation area and a children’s playground⁸, and Kea Garden Guest House is steps from Kea Farm and The Sheep Sanctuary⁹.

Ringlet

Ringlet is where the roads from Raub/Kuala Lipis and Tapah meet, 6 km from Tanah Rata³. The Lakehouse, a 19-room boutique hotel, sits on a hill overlooking Sultan Abu Bakar Lake² and offers a complimentary guided jungle trek¹⁰.

Golf course and Golden Hills

The Cameron Highlands Resort sits by the Cameron Highlands Golf Course, between Tanah Rata and Brinchang¹¹, built around a 1930s colonial house with modern extensions². Golden Hills nearby has glamping at The Bayu Golden Hills and Stellar GoldenHill Cameron, and Zetter Suites sits 0.02 km¹² from the night market.
