Flora Park opening hours

Flora Park keeps the same hours every day of the week. The park’s website gives 9:30am to 7pm1 (checked October 2026), and Google Maps lists Mon–Sun 09:30–19:003, so the two agree.

The hour that matters is last call at 5.30pm1. Get there well before it, because the shuttle ride and the stairs eat into your time.

What you’ll find inside the park

Cameron Highlands is known for tea, vegetable farms and flower nurseries4, and Flora Park is the dressed-up flower version. The park bills itself as a showpiece of flower-filled landscapes1. Its website lists these areas:

  • Glass Sanctuary greenhouse1
  • Golden Maple Bridge1
  • Petunia Garden1
  • Stairway to Infinity1
  • Cameron Sakura Garden1
  • Four Season Flower Garden1

  1. Tanah Rata to Kea Farm

The tourist bus from Tanah Rata stops in Brinchang and Kea Farm. Taxis can be hired at Tanah Rata bus station for RM25 an hour.

  2. Get off on the main road

You can ask the tourist bus driver to drop you anywhere along the main road, so ask for Kea Farm.

  3. Flora Park Parking

Drive or come by public transport to the pickup point, Flora Park Parking.

  4. Shuttle to the park

Shuttle buses take visitors from the parking area to the park.

If you’re already at the market, the park says it’s a 6-minute walk from Kea Farm Market1. For bus times and the rest of the town, see the Tanah Rata guide.

Coming up from Kuala Lumpur just for the day? Buses to Tanah Rata take about 4½ hours6, so read up on planning a Cameron Highlands day trip before you buy a park ticket for a set date.

If you’d rather not juggle buses and shuttles, Klook sells a private or join-in Cameron Highlands day tour from Kuala Lumpur. Flora Park isn’t named in its details, so ask whether it stops there before you book.

Children, older visitors and access

Flora Park is a harder visit if anyone in your group struggles with steps. The park says the route to the garden is narrow, with a lot of stairs, and may not suit elderly visitors or wheelchair users2.

Ticket rules to know before you buy

Check the forecast before you book, because rain won’t get you your money back.

Kea Farm Market is the place for fresh vegetables and fruit, including strawberries and sweet corn6. If you’re shopping for produce, compare it with the agro market, and add the Butterfly Farm if you have time left.
